Program Summary:
This interactive course equips medical staff leaders with the essential tools to conduct efficient, fair, and productive meetings using Robert’s Rules of Order. Participants will explore the principles of parliamentary procedure and how they apply to medical staff governance, including bylaws, committee structures, and decision-making processes. Through real-world scenarios and role-play, attendees will gain confidence in presiding over meetings, handling motions, and resolving conflicts—all while maintaining compliance and professionalism.
Objectives:
- Apply key principles of Robert’s Rules of Order to structure and manage medical staff meetings with clarity and control.
- Demonstrate effective facilitation techniques for handling motions, amendments, voting procedures, and debate within a healthcare governance context.
